Me, Myself and Autism
Our psychoeducational course, "Me, Myself & Autism," helps autistic adults gain a better understanding of their autism and its personal significance.
The course spans 6 weeks, with sessions held on the same day, at the same time each week. The sessions take place in a group setting, either online or in person.
At the end of the course, we host a "Me, Myself & Autism for Families" session, where relatives and friends can attend to receive an overview of the course content.
Low Level Preventative Support
Our AIM is to prevent crisis.
Low-level support focuses on preventative measures to avoid crisis. This support encompasses practical assistance in daily tasks, communication skills enhancement, managing anxiety, boundary setting, and emotional validation.
By addressing challenges early on, this support aims to mitigate potential crises, fostering stability and well-being within the individual's life.
Speech and Language Therapy
Upon completion of the Me, Myself & Autism course, participants will have the option to undergo a Speech and Language (SALT) assessment, resulting in a comprehensive report.
Sensory Workshops
Individuals completing the Me, Myself and Autism course will have the opportunity to attend sensory workshops aimed at identifying their unique sensory needs and offering practical support strategies.
